We are seeing a large number of this scam
This threat comes via email,
Subject “New partnership with Westpac. New Rewards”
From “myGov”
Content: Goes on about ATO signing with a well known Aussie Bank
With more details and asking you to add your bank details
with the benefit of 30% discount on next tax payment
IT IS A SCAM!!!
Keep your eye out and don’t interact with these emails
If unsure – call the agencies directly.
Be aware that once an email like this gets used other variants are bound to follow
(Never use the contacts that might be in the email you received)
